Alcohol and breastfeeding

Hi. I got pregnant 10 months ago and had a healthy baby boy. To be honest i didnt really enjoy pregnancy like some people do, in fact it is safe to say i hated it! I wanted a baby but the pregnancy was hell for me. Especially the not drinking part. I didnt think it would be a problem but seeing everyone i know drinking all the time has driven me up the wall! Anyway, i was looking forward to drinking again but my partner said that there may be some issues with alcohol and breastfeeding, does anybody know anything about this? Should i avoid drinking while breastfeeding?
