My ten month old is ill

Help! for the past five weeks my child has been vomitting and had diarrhoea. I have been to the GP and they have told me its a virus and that i should just wait for it to go on its own. As long as she isnt dehydrated I shouldnt be worrying.
But i cant help worrying, what else can i do??

Five weeks is a long time, I think you should insist on a second opinion....or third or however many it takes. It doesnt seem right to me.
